Line Following Robot

When I was studying in English Preparatory School at METU, a team of curious prep students collaborated to design a line-following robot - without any previous knowledge beforehand. We started from scratch to explore the world of makers. Below is a photo of an early prototype of a line following robot design of our own.

Our curiosity made us learn about many different concepts, from handling sensor data, Arduino programming, various control methods like PID, designing a proper chassis using SOLIDWORKS, controlling a CNC machine, et cetera.
